Brighton, Colo. – May 8, 2012 – Watermill Express, the nation’s largest drive-up vendor of pure drinking water, provided water to the Resource Fair for Children with Special Needs in Brownsville, Texas.

Watermill Express provided 50 gallons of water to the approximately 450 people that attended the informative event. The Resource Fair is sponsored by the Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital; over 22 local and state organizations participated, offering support and services for families who have children with special needs.

“Watermill Express helped make the Resource Fair a successful and healthy event,” said Susan Fernbach, Director of Genetic Outreach. “The families and representatives of the organizations were so grateful for the water; we all express our gratitude to Watermill Express for its support of the Resource Fair.”

Watermill Express Supports the Brownsville Zumba Event

Brighton, Colo. – May 1, 2012 – Watermill Express, the nation’s largest drive-up vendor of pure drinking water, provided water to the Brownsville Zumba Event at Brownsville Sports Park in Brownsville, Texas.

To keep all of the Zumba dancers hydrated, Watermill Express provided 60 gallons of water and 60 pounds of Waterocks® Ice. The City of Brownsville is attempting to enter the Guinness Book of World Records by having the largest Zumba dance class; an estimated 2,000 participants took part in the record breaking attempt.

All Brownsville residents were encouraged to come to Brownsville Sports Park for dancing, a workout and a lot of fun. “Our reality is that 80% of our population is either overweight or obese,” said Brownsville commissioner, Dr. Rose Gowen. “These rates surpass the rest of the country, but many people do not understand the relationship between obesity related diseases and the economy, especially in a poor community such as ours.” The free event, which was sponsored by the City of Brownsville, is part of “Brownsville’s Biggest Loser Challenge.”

Brighton, Colo. – May 1, 2012 – Watermill Express, the nation’s largest drive-up vendor of pure drinking water, provided water to the St. Joseph Catholic School Walk-a-thon in Edinburg, Texas.

Watermill Express provided 40 gallons of water and 40 pounds of Waterocks® Ice for the event. The water kept all participants cool and hydrated during the three mile walk.

The St. Joseph Catholic School offers a comprehensive education from preschool through fifth grade addressing the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social and creative needs of each child. Each year to promote a healthy lifestyle and to raise funds for the school year, the school has a walk-a-thon.

Brighton, Colo. – May 1, 2012 – Watermill Express, the nation’s largest drive-up vendor of pure drinking water, provided water to the March of Dimes/March for Babies Walk at McAllen City Park in McAllen, Texas.

Watermill Express provided 45 gallons of water and 65 pounds of Waterocks® Ice for the March of Dimes walk. Approximately 1,500 walkers participated in the three mile walk.

The March of Dimes Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to aiding women in pregnancy and promoting infant health. The walk was held to raise money for the treatment of babies born prematurely
