Innovation and Design
The Watermill Express® vending unit is actually an unmanned, 42 square foot, state-of-the-art water purification plant. Water is dispensed via two vending sinks with both coin and dollar operated customer interfaces. The unit is computerized and continuously monitored for malfunctions and water purity. Each unit is serviced and sanitized daily.
Normal unit installation including sidewalk ranges from 160 to 225 square feet or about two parking spaces.
Watermill Express is responsible for all building permits, construction costs and the extension of all utilities necessary for unit installation.
Utility lines are typically extended by directional underground bore. This minimizes the impact of construction on both parking and traffic flow in the shopping center.
Watermill Express can color match design aspects of the vending unit and roof materials to meet special design requirements of shopping center owners and municipalities.
The unit exterior is a pre-cast steel reinforced concrete structure designed in compliance with the following standards and specifications:
- NPCA (National Pre-cast Concrete Products Association)
- ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)
- NAMA (National Automatic Merchandising Association) Standards for the Sanitary Design and Construction of Food & Beverage Vending Machines
- IBC (International Building Code)
- CBC (California Building Code)
- NEC (National Electric Code)
- ETL (Electronic Testing Laboratory) Certified Stations & Manufacturing Plant
- 130 MPH wind loads.
- Costal and CA units are designed for 150 MPH wind loads and seismic zone 4.
